While in the field our sci­en­tists work with approx­i­mately 25 dif­fer­ent species of birds.  Ques­tions we com­monly get include:  How big is it?  How do you catch them?  What do they look like up close?  Hope­fully these pho­tos will help answer those questions.  

LIFE IN THE FIELD

Pho­tos of our daily non-research activ­i­ties in the field.  From set­ting up tents to cook­ing din­ner, get an idea of what it is like to work in north­west Greenland.
